For the Pro Lates, the night will serve as the final events of the 2020 Interstate Shootout. The six-round series, a collaboration between Havasu 95 Speedway and Irwindale Speedway, will see the top 5 in final championship points receive a combined $5,000 in rewards.

On July 18th, The Sigma Engineering Pro Late Models descended upon the 1/3 mile at Irwindale Speedway for round #4 of the PLM Interstate Shootout. Prior to the event, Irwindale Speedway was proud to welcome longtime racing supporter Tri-City Towing as a partner to growing division. Tri City Towing IE CA, along with owner Clay Wooster, contributed $200 per car start money to every PLM team in attendance. Following 50 laps of hard racing, and a late charge from his High Point Racing teammate, Dean Thompson, Trevor Huddleston grabbed his second Sigma Engineering PLM win of the season

Headed into the September 19th finale, Huddleston holds a two-point lead over Thompson in the championship points. Rounding out the top five in points, Parker Malone, Mike Weimann and Robby Hornsby will look to put pressure on the High Point Racing duo during the night’s twin main events.
