SALEM, IN – Champion Racing Association Powered by JEGS officials have announced that Progressive Racing Engines has agreed to continue to be a marketing partner with CRA and its ARCA/CRA Super Series Powered by JEGS for the 2020 racing season. The series 2020 points season will begin Saturday, April 11th at Anderson Speedway. 2020 will be the 24th season of competition for the ARCA/CRA Super Series that ran its first race on April 26, 1997.

Progressive Racing Engines will once again sponsor the Progressive Racing Engines HardCharger Award at each series event in 2020, which will be awarded to the driver advancing the most positions from his original scheduled starting position at each series event. The award will consist of a $100 cash bonus from Progressive Racing Engines at all the regular 100 and 125 lap series events. The award will be $200 at the Money in the Bank 150, the Battle at Berlin 251, the Redbud 400, the Winchester 400 and the All American 400.

“We are excited to continue as a sponsor with the ARCA/CRA Super Series this season,” remarked Steve McInnis, of Progressive Racing Engines. “Our engines have had a lot of success in this series and I felt like this award is a great opportunity for us to give back to the racers in this series!”

“We really appreciate Progressive Racing Engines coming back on board to support our racers in the ARCA/CRA Super Series again in 2020,” remarked Glenn Luckett, Managing Partner with Champion Racing Association. “This award will recognize and reward a driver who has done a great job advancing through the field to get a good finish at each of our events this season!”

Progressive Racing Engines is operated in Miami Gardens, Florida, by partners Steve McInnis and Brian Hintz. It was founded in late 1988 with the intent of producing power plants for offshore motorsports such as powerboat racing. While McInnis and Hintz enjoyed working in the marine Motorsports world, they eventually began to do some projects for circle track competitors as well. Circle track racing has now become the main focus of Progressive Racing Engines, building motors for racers all over the United States, including its Sealed Super Late Model Spec Engine, approved for use in the ARCA/CRA Super Series. ARCA/CRA Super Series competitors who use Progressive Racing Engines include Brian Campbell, Johnny VanDoorn, Stephen Nasse and Steve Dorer.
