MOORESVILLE, NC – Though the major Late Model Stock Car event at Martinsville scheduled for Sept. 26 was cancelled over the weekend, CARS Tour officials have announced that the Old North State Nationals will continue to be run on Oct. 17-18, 2020. The event will offer a $75,000 purse, paying $30,000 to the winner and $1,250 to start the feature on Sunday. At this time, the event is to be held at Orange County Speedway in Rougemont, North Carolina. Should North Carolina remain in Phase 2 of the state government’s Safer at Home restrictions through the weekend of Oct. 17-18, alternative plans are in place to hold the season finale for the Late Model Stock Cars of the Solid Rock Carriers CARS Tour at a different location.
