SALEM, IN – Champion Racing Association Powered by JEGS officials have come up with a unique racing event for both the ARCA/CRA Super Series Powered by JEGS and the JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour Presented by Chevrolet Performance, the CRA “King of the Hill” Bracket Challenge, which will be part of a huge weekend of racing on Labor Day Weekend at Lebanon I-44 Speedway.

Saturday, September 5th will feature the ARCA Menards Series in the Zinsser SmartCoat 200, along with open practice for both the ARCA/CRA Super Series and the JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour. The CRA “King of the Hill” Bracket Challenge special non-points event will hit the track prior to the ARCA Menards Series Zinsser SmartCoat 200 on Saturday evening.

The top eight teams from the ARCA/CRA Super Series open practice and the top eight teams from the JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour open practice will be seeded 1-8, bracket style for each division. The lower seed will have lane choice. The pairing will race for 4 laps, with the winner advancing to the next round. The event will have side by side starts, being near full speed at the start line, the lower seed must hit the start line first. Each division bracket winner will be crowned “King of the Hill” and receive $750. Each divisions runner up will receive $250.

“Track Enterprises officials, the promoters of the weekend event, ask us to come up with something with our cars on the track as part of the Saturday show,” remarked R.J. Scott, Managing Partner with CRA. “We thought this was something unique that we had never done with any of our divisions before. It gives our guys a little more track time in front of the ARCA Menards Series event crowd and the opportunity to make a little money as well. No points, not a bunch of laps, just a little fun on a Saturday night!”

The ARCA/CRA Super Series and the JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour will have twin 100 lap events on Sunday, September 6th. Those events will be the first event in each series 2020 Chase for the Championship.

Track Enterprises were the promoters of the successful May 30th “Show Me State Showdown” at Lebanon I-44 Speedway. That great night of exciting racing action from the ARCA/CRA Super Series, the JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour and the Van Hoy Oil CRA Street Stocks gave the fans attending plenty to cheer about. The Labor Day Weekend show will bring two nights of action-packed racing back to the Missouri area.

Online sales began on Tuesday afternoon for 2-day discount grandstand tickets in addition to wildside tier parking and pit passes. Saturday only and Sunday only tickets, pit passes, and wildside parking options will also be available.
