NASHVILLE, TN – The City of Nashville approves racing at Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway next weekend, September 12th. After a one event pause in racing on August 29th, due to the corona virus pandemic, speedway and city officials have come to an agreement for stock car racing to resume at the historic Fairgrounds Nashville.
Strict social distancing and face covering measures will be in place. Fans, participants and staff must wear a mask at all times while on property during the event. Hand sanitizer stations, additional cleaning staff and other CDC recommended safety measures will continue to be in place for the event.
The exciting racing program features local racing stars of Nashville, Tennessee. Pro Late Models and Whelen Super Trucks will race on the five-eighths mile track while the quarter mile course will host the Limited Late Models, Street Stocks, Pure Stocks, Pest Doctor Front Runners, BH Holmes Construction Legends, and Dye Hard Hair Salon Bandoleros.
Dylan Fetcho maintains the Championship points lead by a mere two-point advantage over former Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway Late Model Track Champion, Cole Williams.
