NEW SMYRNA, FL – New Smyrna Speedway officials have decided to postpone their Annual Clyde Hart Memorial featuring the David Rogers Super Late Series originally scheduled for this coming weekend until August 27th.

Due to the substantial rise of positive COVID-19 cases here in Florida, we can’t in good conscience ask drivers to travel from throughout the Southeast to come to our speedway. We have done everything we can to keep our drivers and fans safe and we view this move as a continuation of our efforts to ensure the racing season continues as safely as possible.

We are disappointed to have to do this as we were looking forward to a great weekend of racing.

We will be rescheduling the entire Clyde Hart Memorial event for Thursday, August 27, 2020. (Bomber 40, Super Stocks and Ground Pounders will be rescheduled to this date as well).

We will continue to host our weekly races featuring local drivers and we look forward to seeing you all next Saturday night! We thank you for your understanding and support of New Smyrna Speedway. Have a safe and Happy 4th of July! God Bless America!
