PENSACOLA, FL – Bubba Pollard picked up his 22nd win in the Blizzard Series at Pensacola’s Florida’s Five Flags Speedway on Friday night. The second victory in as many races, for the Georgia driver racing in the Southern Super Series, at the famous Florida Panhandle oval that is home to the Snowball Derby.

Pollard’s win was his fifth of the 2020 short track stock car racing season. The point leader in both the Blizzard and Southern Super Series also earned himself a $15,000 payday for the second time in as many races at Five Flags as well. Including $5000 dollars for the win, plus $5000 more for the series ‘Double Down in the Next Town’ bonus, and an additional $5,000 in bonus money, put up by James Finch of Phoenix Construction.

Pollard was followed by, pole sitter and winner of the first heat race, Kaden Honeycut in the second position, Florida drivers Stephen Nasse third and Jeremy Pate fourth, with near by Marietta, Georgia’s Kyle Plott in fifth. Rounding out the top five in round number three of the 2020 Blizzard Series at Five Flags Speedway.
