LAS VEGAS, NV – Las Vegas Motor Speedway officials have released the official entry list for the Star Nursery 100 Super Late Model Open Comp. It is scheduled to be run in conjunction with the Star Nursery 150 ARCA Menards Series West race, with each event slated for The Bullring at Las Vegas Motor Speedway on Thursday, February 20.
Defending NASCAR Cup Series champion Kyle Busch will chauffer one of two Kyle Busch Motorsports team entries in the Super Late Model portion of the show. The other Rowdy Manufacturing ride will be piloted by 2019 New Smyrna Speedway World Series of Asphalt Stock Car Racing Pro Late Model Champ Sammy Smith. Each is backed by Toyota Racing Development.

Other notables for the Thursday evening Super Late Model event include the SPEARS Southwest Tour Series winningest driver and 2020 Sunrise Ford All-Star Showdown champ Derek Thorn in the Santa Maria Brewing Co. / H&M Motorsports Toyota.

Interestingly, veteran Preston Peltier is not on the entry list. Peltier reported via social media this past week that he “will no longer be working and/or driving for the Vecchiarelli’s & Generator Source” going forward. According to Peltier, parties failed to “come to a contractual agreement” for the 2020 Late Model stock car racing season.
